Designing for Joy: A Colorful Celebration

Designing for Mary and Dillon was a true celebration of joy, color, and love. Their wedding stationery allowed me to dive into a vibrant summer palette of bright pinks, oranges, and yellows—a dream for any designer. From the moment Mary shared her vision of a summer garden party, I knew this was going to be a fun and creative project, full of energy and personality.

A Tale of Color and Creativity

Mary’s vision was clear: she wanted her wedding to feel like a lively, summer garden, where guests would be immersed in bold colors and playful details. To bring this to life, we centered the design around their bright, cheerful color palette. The wedding invitations became the first glimpse into the celebration—filled with florals and hues of pink, orange, and yellow that captured the essence of summer in bloom. The invitations weren’t just a piece of paper—they set the stage for a wedding that would be brimming with joy, excitement, and personality.

Day-Of Designs: A Burst of Summer

On the wedding day, the details truly shone. The timeline, in a striking bright orange, brought a pop of color while guiding guests through the day’s events. The light pink programs offered a soft, elegant balance to the more vibrant elements, creating a cohesive and harmonious feel. These thoughtful touches helped to blend practicality with beauty, ensuring that guests were both informed and immersed in the design.

A Symphony of Personalized Details

The place cards were where we got playful with color. These hot pink and bright orange tent-folded cards doubled as functional décor, featuring each guest’s name on the front and their meal selections and allergies on the back. It was a thoughtful and practical addition, perfectly in tune with the couple’s attention to detail. The cards stood out on the tables, adding a vibrant splash that tied the entire design together.

A Journey of Creativity and Love

As I reflect on the journey of designing for Mary and Dillon’s wedding, I can’t help but smile. This project was full of life, laughter, and creativity—just like the couple themselves. It was an honor to contribute to their special day and watch their dream of a summer garden party come to life. To Mary and Dillon, thank you for trusting me with your vision. May your love continue to bloom as brightly as the colors of your wedding day.

Chelsey, I cannot thank you enough for all the work that you have done for our wedding stationary. Your talents and creativity created
the most uniquely beautiful wedding invitations. I had no idea that wedding stationary could be so colorful and fun. Working with you was
such a delightful experience. You took my vague ideas and visions and created something incredible. I loved our back-and-forth email thread
we had going. You listened and tweaked until the invitations, programs, and place cards were just right. I get called a paper snob for my
love of stationary, but you my friend, have exceeded all my expectations.
Thank you again,
Mary Jehling
