Moody 1920s-Inspired Style Shoot Turned Ceremony

A Real Wedding in the Gothic Corridor

What began as a styled shoot to capture the elegance of a moody, 1920s-themed wedding quickly turned into something far more meaningful. Set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of the Gothic Corridor at St. Louis Union Station, what was once a day of creative collaboration transformed into a real-life love story—when the couple modeling for the shoot decided to make it official and say I do on the spot.

Gothic-Inspired Wedding Stationery with a 1920s Twist

When designing the stationery suite, I wanted it to reflect the drama and elegance of both the venue’s gothic architecture and the bold spirit of the Roaring Twenties. The result was a custom collection of invitations, menus, place cards, and ceremony programs infused with deep, moody tones and bold Art Deco-inspired typography. Every detail—from the layered textures to the luxe finishes—was meant to feel like it belonged in a candlelit cathedral or a speakeasy lounge.

Bringing the Vision to Life Through Custom Wedding Stationery

This shoot-turned-wedding was a dream to be a part of. From the breathtaking setting to the intentional details layered throughout the design, every element played a part in bringing vintage romance to life. I was honored to create custom wedding stationery that tied the entire vision together and helped set the tone for this unexpected celebration.
