A Sweet & Citrus-Inspired Baby Shower
There’s something so special about designing for a baby shower, and when the theme is as adorable as “A Little Cutie Is on the Way,” it’s even more exciting! I had the pleasure of creating a full stationery suite for this charming, citrus-inspired celebration, featuring soft orange hues, playful typography, and whimsical details that perfectly captured the joy of welcoming a little one.
The Design Details
From the invitations to the day-of stationery, every element was thoughtfully crafted to enhance the overall theme. The color palette included shades of orange, peach, and hints of green to reflect the natural vibrancy of fresh-cut clementines. A delicate balance of modern and playful fonts, along with subtle watercolor textures, tied everything together beautifully.
Invitation Suite
The invitations set the tone for the shower with a fresh and cheerful design. Featuring cute little clementines and leafy accents, the suite was both inviting and elegant, giving guests a preview of the fun-filled day ahead.
Welcome Sign
As guests arrived, they were greeted by a custom welcome sign that brought the theme to life. Designed with bright oranges and greenery, it added a warm and inviting touch to the event space, setting the perfect atmosphere for celebration.
Shower Games & Activities
No baby shower is complete without some interactive fun! I designed a series of themed games to keep guests entertained, including:
- Guess Baby’s Due Date Game Poster – A beautifully designed poster where guests could mark their guesses for when the baby would arrive.
- Classic Shower Games – From “Price is Right” to “Who Knows Mommy Best?”, each game was customized with citrus-inspired details.
- Advice to the Future Mom – A sweet keepsake for the mom-to-be, where guests could share heartfelt messages and parenting wisdom.
Bringing It All Together
Seeing everything come to life was such a rewarding experience. The combination of playful citrus graphics, a bright and airy color scheme, and personalized details made this baby shower feel truly unique and memorable.
